Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
This policy explains what VOE AI LLC ("VOE," "we") collects when you use tryvoe.com and how it's used.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication details (handled by Supabase Auth).
- Content you submit: video links, uploaded video files, transcripts, captions, and notes — plus the Lessons, summaries, search data, transcripts, and temporary processing files VOE generates for your account.
- Billing and wallet data: your plan, subscription status, credit grants, reservations, spending, releases, balance periods, and related transaction records. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor — they never touch our servers.
- Job and usage data: request identifiers, source and output metadata, job state and duration, downloads, rate-limit events, errors, and API cost tracking used to run, secure, and improve the Service.
How we use it
- To operate the Service: producing your Lessons requires processing your submissions with third-party AI providers (see below).
- To maintain your credit wallet, prevent duplicate charges, bill you correctly, settle reservations, enforce plan and rate limits, and investigate abuse.
- To fix problems and improve the product.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use your private content to advertise to you.
Service providers we share data with
VOE runs on infrastructure and AI services that process data on our behalf, only as needed to provide the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Vercel — web hosting
- Railway — video import processing
- Stripe — payments and subscription management
- OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google — AI transcription, analysis, and generation of your Lessons
- OpenRouter — model gateway used to run DeepSeek for deep Lesson tutorial generation
- Oxylabs — web search used to verify tool recommendations
Cookies and local storage
VOE uses browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
Retention and deletion
Your content stays in your account until you delete it or delete your account.
Files prepared only for transcript requests or internal administrative media processing are intended to be temporary. We keep temporary source/output files and access capabilities only as long as reasonably needed to complete and deliver the request, operate retry and security controls, and meet legal obligations. Temporary access may expire before underlying backup or operational-retention copies are deleted.
Credit-ledger, billing, anti-fraud, and security records may be retained after related content is deleted where reasonably needed for accounting, dispute handling, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
When you delete your account, we permanently remove the personal information that identifies you — your email address, sign-in identity (including linked Google accounts), profile, and billing identifiers. Content you submitted (such as uploaded videos, links, and the Lessons generated from them) may be retained in anonymized form, no longer linked to you, to keep improving VOE.
If you want your submitted content deleted as well, say so in your deletion request and we'll remove it too. We will erase your data within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing and tax records).
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll post updates to this policy here, and flag material changes in the Service or by email.
